for audit. peak usually starts ard jan. cos most companies haf dec year ends. for me. peak's not too xiong yet (at least i dun hafta work till 4am like last time)
but still. 11pm isn't any better. sat's burnt too. surprisingly. today is the only day in wks tt i dun hafta worry abt work. (cos i've done all i can yest) partner's coming down to RCL to review my work tmr. a bit freaked since this is the first real finals for me. first finals where i've to complete 2 cos by myself.
my peak period. it's not gonna end soon. RCL's reporting is on 12th feb. after which it'll be drawing up FS. cny next. this yr. cny hardly sounds exciting. no time for enuff shopping. no time to dye hair. no time to even trim. no time to rest b4 cny. and worse. gonna be flying off to china on 25th. which is STILL cny wk. the wkend where i usually will go da tuan bai etc. e-pak job is starting on 26th. 2 wks.
meiyen is suggesting going HK after the job at shenzhen. hopefully we'll haf the time to relax and do some shopping in HK. im not even in the least excited abt this overseas assignment. maybe im jus too tired. and im noe i'll be so homesick.
fully booked till july. after e-pak it'll be AFPD's finals for the whole of march. then camyon job all alone by myself. in may there's jaya. with boon keng and all. then RCL will start its review in july again. and so on. one more yr gone. up till now. only my june's unbooked. i tink i haf 2 wks in june. for holidays. i have not bked my leave yet though. better to block it next wk when i haf the time.
time passes fast. everyday it's abt waking up. squeezing up the stupid 145 bus. filling my hot water bottle first ting when i reached RCL. going on msn. chasing client for outstandings. lunch (most of the time im too lazy to go. if not for huiling i wun bother abt lunch) coming back and feeling real slpy. watching RCL's staffs go hm one by one (our meeting rm's near the exit. and since they love us so much. most will say bye b4 leaving =_=) working till wang le shi jian. (dinner at times). b4 u noe it it's alr 10 plus. time to pack up and call cab. home. slp. tts my kind of day. when will it end?
for abt a month. i've considered leaving the audit line. im not an "audit" person. neither am i a "finance" ger. accountancy was but an "anyhow la" choice for me 4 years ago. if i do quit. im tinking of NIE. but still. im not sure if i really wan tt yet. maybe i jus dun wanna gif up tt easily. frens ard me is yet another reason to stay on. but the working hrs sux. and im not really enjoying wat i do most of the time. its jus not worth spending my life in audit accounts or finance. it's not my cup of tea. hopeful tt i'll reach a conclusion soon.
tings are improving. my working r/s with derrick and meiyen. thanx to huiling who brightens up our day. huiling's our intern. from SMU. a bright and nice ger. mature too in her own way. she's flying off to poland tonight. shld be on the plane by now. im gonna miss her so much. RCL's audit been great when shes ard. of cos it's nice to haf someone to photocopy tings n cross ref the consol for u for a change. she is a great pal too. and we are great allies when it comes to suaning and bullying derrick. will miss u ger! if i stay in EY. hopefully u'll join us when u graduate. tts my selfish wish. cos i noe u dun fancy audit (now tt u've be thru RCL with us hahz) and i noe EY's welfare isn't all tt great. but im looking forward to the day when we work tog again!! *grinz*
