exciting day so im gonna blog abt my aussie trip starting frm day 1!!!

i brought along an exercise bk for my trip.
for writing down my expenses for each day.
n also a daily journal kind of ting. =)
our first stop for aussie was at brisbane.
i tink i'd heard brisbane is a boring city b4.
n i have to agree now.
i'd forgotten y we wanted to start there.
i tink it's becos of tangalooma dolphin resort.
yea. cos me n jp wanted to feed dolphins u c.
and the beaches there are damn spectacular as u will c...
so aboard the plane we go.
SQ*** i forgot.
paul n the rest were asking me y we'd chosen s'pore airlines.
but i love s'pore airlines.
cool. comfy. safe. tv. games. nice foodie.
yea.
to sum it up. shiok flight!
myself thru the tv screen...
i watched nanny mcphee on the way there!
yoohoo!
i missed this show when it was screened here!
no more grumbling n whining to poh! yippies!
the 3 of us b4 takeoff.

met with some turbulences.
made me felt as if i was on a roller coaster.
n sua-ku me who has nv sat on sucha long flight b4 (ok la it was only 7 hrs)
i din noe where the lavatory pt was. (yea i din see the signs la!)
jp had to bring me there n i made her waited outside for me the first time.

i c brisbane!
there's the brisbane international airport!
after collecting my baggage.
i actually got inspected by an airport officer.
he asked for my passport n some qns which i dun rem anymore.
freaked me! do i look so much like a criminal? argh.
my first impression.
the weather here is damn cool (pun-intended)
n i like it when the sun shines on me.
haha. so comfy!
we took the train to brunswick st railway station.
this is their train. many many seats.
many many empty seats i mean.
they've got so many rail lines tt our cabin has only like 5 pple?
so unlike the mrts of singapore!
and while we were on the train.
we saw these v fascinating signs...
oh n u haf to open the doors of the train urself when u wanna board or alight.
n aaron ah. kan jiong spidey.
when we were abt to alight. he go press the "emergency" button...
tinking it was the "open" button.
faint!
of cos we got off hurriedly.
lol.
alighted at brunswick n walked to the motel from there.
yucky slopes. was so afraid tt my luggage could not withstand the terrible slopes
lol.
and so we reached... the tourist guest house.
our accomodation for the first 2 nights in brisbane.

cosy i would say.
friendly staffs too. (ok australians are real friendly i shld say. really)
messy messy room.
we were unpacking our stuffs la.
had to pack every morn n night.
cos i was so afraid my luggage would burst if i dun pack properly!
i brought like 3 sweaters n 4 long sleeves n 1 thick coat!!!
silly me. regret regret.
packed hastily cos we had to rush to pinkenba jetty for the cruise over to tangalooma
managed to get a cab there.
i tell u. the cab rates are a killer.
when we saw how fast the meter jumped. our eyes almost popped out.
like 10cents every 5 seconds lor!
scary man!
n we reached pinkenba.
our cruise over to moreton island!
75 mins cruise... *yawns*
went on the top deck n almost got blown away by the strong winds!
our faces got all distorted!
the island...
look how clear the waters are!
i love it!
u can see those fishes swimming ard ya legs too!
u asked y we are wearing our tops still?
cos it's damn cold over there la!
wah! it took us a lot of courage to walk ard like this!!!!
we almost died!
but the aussies dun seem to mind the weather.
sigh...
beautiful sunset...

near evening. which is like 4 plus! (faints)
the sky falls.
n the dolphins swam in one by one...
it's really amazing...
to c them swim towards us from the deep sea...
we could only like feed them 3 tiny little fishes after half a day's waiting...
n the water was so cold!
we wore sweaters with our swimming shorts.
can u imagine how chou tt is?
totally unglam.
by the time we were back in brisbane.
we were out cold.
seriously. freezing cold.
went back to the motel for warmer clothes n out for dinner!
their shops were like all close la!
closes at 5-6pm lor!

nothing much to do at nite except clubbing.
which i am totally not keen considering those ang-mohs are so big-zized
n god noes wat they'll do when they are drunk?
n i need to protect my passport n $ too!
lol.
found this pasta cafe (c the pasta night!)
fortunately we ordered 2 servings only!
we couldn't finish lor! 3 of us yea!
big portions man!
oh and we saw a shark at tangalooma aso i forgot.
the kids there were so excited. they kept throwing stones at it frm the jetty.
n yah.
drivers in aussie are damn zai.
they drive like 90km/h? yea.
fast n furious.
but damn zai.
tired from all these blogging...
shall go haf dinner.
yeah. it's 9pm... n i haven had dinner yet! wats wrong with me!!!
